Laura (His "Lil Hun")

It's Halloween and that was always one of Tracy's favorite holidays. He loved dressing up and getting out of the house to see what kind of attention he would get. He also loved to give out candy to trick or treaters. I remember one year he put something all over his face and hands that made him look black and he got a rainbow colored clown wig and we went to the mall with him dressed like that. Boy did he get attention. Everyone that walked by was laughing at him. He loved it. It was pretty funny looking. But one thing I will always know is that it was a tradition for the two of us to sit down and carve a pumpkin. I would choose a design and get it started and he would do the carving. The pumpkins always turned out perfect. So in his memory, and out of tradition, I made a pumpkin for him that said "TRACY- WE (HEART) YOU". It was so pretty at first, but now you can't even tell what it says. It hurts my feelings because I made it for him and planned to take it to the cemetary. I know it's the thought that counts but Tracy always did his best for everyone so I figure he desrves the best he can get also. Tracy~ Today is getting harder and harder as the day goes by without you. We miss you so very much and even though we keep getting told it's gets easier with time, it hasn't. Although, we know that you are no longer in any pain and that you are in Heaven and watching over us, and that we will get to see you again. I just wanted to tell you how much you are Loved and Missed and to have a very Happy Halloween up in Heaven.

Love always,

Your "Lil Hun"

I have known Tracy since I was a very little girl, as Laura and I grew up BEST FRIENDS! :) I always loved to be around Tracy and Jill! Their love was definitely something for young people today to look at and model after! They were married some 20 years and loved each every day...Tracy just loved EVERYBODY!! A very special man 4 sure! I can remember when I was a little girl and spent the night with Laura! We were so excited...even tho we saw each other every day (considerin we lived "across the yard" LOL) Jill said "yall dont make too much noise (tracy has to work) and DONT STAY UP ALL NIGHT!!" haha...what were ya thinkin? lol Needless to say, we made a lota noise laughing ALL NIGHT! And then, as if that weren't enough, we decided to get some cereal in the wee hours of the AM and...it woke tracy up! We were so nervous when we heard him comin...then he sleepily said "SHHHHHH!!!!" and walked off! lol We giggled and stayed up the rest of the day! Tracy, I'll miss you for sure and I know your family will as well!! But, we can be sure that one day soon we'll see you again and for all eternity! Rest in Peace! LOVE YOU LAURA AND JILL!!!

I remember Tracy from Beech Bluff School.  We were the same age and went through alot of our elementary classes together.  I recently was looking at some of my old photo albums and trying to remember who all the kids were I had collected pictures from way back then.  Tracy was one of those in my album that had a half of page of all the years that we swapped photos.  It sounds as if he had grown up into a wonderful man.  May you rest in peace Tracy.
